Johnny Manziel is a sophomore quarter back for Texas A&M University. This past year, not only was he the player to watch, but he was also in the spotlight for some not so positive reasons. Manziel had an outstanding season last year, which launched his career into stardom. Number two, while gaining yardage gained a loyal fan base. "Johnny Football", as he came to be know has taken a life of its own. He's popularized hand sign, has tee-shirts, and is making money off his name. "Johnny Football", which has been coined by Manziel's company, "JMAN2", has filed a civil suit against one Texan man, for copyright infringement. Scott McDonald, compliance officer here at Winthrop University chimed, "Manziel suing this Texan man is just a distraction from the real issue his amateurism." Manziel signed 600 autographs, which were used for profit. He claimed no part in the selling, and innocence. Manziel despite his apparent cluelessness was suspended for the first season game.
